Faith
I never know where to begin from,
but I suppose the best thing is to start from the
beginning...
I was born in 1969, and I always lived in the respect of the ten
commandments thinking that it was just enough.
I had troubles at some point of my life, so I begun to search for
an entity or some kind of energy (???) as a solution to these
troubles.
I read about hinduism, buddhism, I King, New Age, but I always saw
a void, a missing link with what I found: The Truth.
Yep, I couldn't find an absolute truth, although I knew there was a
Truth out there, but I wasn't able to see it.
Then, one day, I met a Christian girl; of course that girl went to
church on Sunday, and I thought:
"OK, here's another boring, religious, person...".
My life was quite troubled at the time, both at work and in my
private area, so I began to ask to that girl
some questions about God.
With my surprise the girl answered my questions in a really
complete and easy manner, but I still was skeptical.
My private life was getting worse more and more, and one night I
decided to give my life and heart to the Lord,
and my life changed forever!
Since that night, with the help of God I began to solve the
troubles of my life, and I decided
to follow the calling that He has deserved for me:
To sing his praises and how great and good the Lord is for all of
us.
Now I know that God loves me so much that he sent His only son
Jesus Christ to pay for my sins and give me eternal life.
And you can do it too!!!
Aw, by the way... that "girl" is my loving wife since June 14,
2003...
